

ORIENTATION SESSIONS
At different stages of our careers, we all face multiple challenges. While each is unique, there are also some similarities between them. We can overcome those challenges by leveraging our skills and wisdom. But if we get help from other experienced people, it becomes a tad easier. These orientation sessions aim to provide additional support for that.
There are four different orientation sessions identified. Each session is for an hour and is conducted in a group free of charge. The sessions provide a high-level view of one specific type of challenges and ways to address them. The participant can avail of the full and paid sessions if they liked the orientation session. These sessions are conducted for each participant individually and run for several weeks.
Simplify to Amplify
Every individual has a potential. The selection for a role is based on potential. Once in the role, the retention and growth of the individual are based on performance. For every person, performance always lags potential. Internal interferences and external constraints are the two deductors contributing to this gap.
You can reduce the gap between potential and performance by controlling internal interferences and managing external constraints. Additionally, you can nurture your potential and further enhance your performance. Upkaari, will provide a few pointers to help reduce or eliminate such deductors.
Starting the Startup
Many entrepreneurs have great ideas. Many of them get sufficient funding also. Still, nearly 98% of those fold prematurely. Despite a very low success rate of about 2%, the passion and purpose keep the entrepreneurs attracted to startups. The session provides a structured way to help such passionate entrepreneurs start or navigate the early stages of their startup journey.
The pre-startup phase typically focuses on Discovery and Validation. Upkaari, has a model named SLIM (Sequentially Layered Iterative Model) that plays well at this stage to progress confidently. The model covers ten key elements in solidifying the formation of the startup.
Extended Inning
The life expectancy has increased, but the age to retire is still almost the same. Superannuation is an important milestone, but it should not mean the end of the active life. Most people have at least 10 to 15 years, maybe more, of active life left in them. So, they find themselves in a situation where they have too much free time. If not used meaningfully, it can lead to various issues.
To Nicely Engage After Retirement (NEAR), you need to start thinking and planning about that well before the actual day of retirement. Life has to have a purpose, even if it is significantly different from the earlier phase. Upkaari, will provide insights to engage meaningfully for at least 4 to 5 hours daily.
Conquer Interview
Inadequate preparation and experience in role-specific job interviews clubbed with a poor resume leads to inordinate delay in securing a new job. Several factors, such as poor verbal and non-verbal communication, inappropriate answers to basic questions, overconfidence, lack of confidence, etc., can lead to rejection.
By helping such professionals in preparation, including mock interviews, Upkaari, can help you increase the probability of selection for the job. The sessions will be conducted by a couple of highly experienced professionals who have conducted many interviews and selected members for their team. They know what is liked and disliked by the selection panel.
